This is a variation on standard game, but adds the addition on powers to the normal plays of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This is easy to show by example.
The normal plays would be 1 (3-2), 5 (3+2), and 6 (2 x 3). By adding powers to the mix you also add the plays 9 (3^2) and 8 (2^3). This also opens up an entire host of plays when a 0 is played (1^0 = 1, 2^0 = 1, 3^0 = 1, etc...). It is also a great introduction to the concept of powers. Now if I could just remember 6^7 off the top of my head... (oh yea, 279936)
