Pyramath Super Division

Pyramath Super Division plays very similar to the standard rules game and can be used in both one player and two player versions. These rules are located at the Pyramath Site.  The game variation is allowing reverse division.

This is best illustrated by example;

7

8

In the example 7 and 8 the standard plays would be 5 (addition, 15), 1 (subtraction), and 6 (multiplication).

Super addition allows you to play divsion by allowing the 8 to be 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, etc..., and the 7 to serve as 17, 27, 37, 47, etc...

This opens up the possilibity of playing a 4 (28,7) or a 9 (17 - 8). Players can also agree on posible rules excluding other operations (like subtraction) in the game play.

6

4

See if you can determine all the possible plays in this scenario with the digits above. Also see if you can determine the fastest way to work out all the operations.

0 (6+4)

2 ( 6-4)

4 (24/6 or 6*4)

8 (14-6)

9 (36/4 or 54/6)
